16- VSD N° 1182 of 20 april 2000 "The cyber-marriage ": In its world first, the artist Sophie Lavaud and Fred Forest, were married on the Internet on March 18th, 1999 using a program of VR (Virtual Reality) functioning with Polemus sensors. The marriage was celebrated by Andre Santini, appointed mayor of Issy-les-Moulineaux, with the American Vinton Cerf, the founding father of the Internet and the inventor of the IP system, as a witness present at the ceremony.
