EXPERIMENTAL T.V. PROGRAM
TELESHOCK-TELEXCHANGE
FRENCH
NATIONAL TELEVISION, CHANNEL 2
22 MARCH AND 12 APRIL 1972
During
a first appearance on television, the artist asks viewers
to send in an object, or the picture of an object, along with
a true or fictitious account of the object’s history.
Two weeks later, the objects/stories are featured on a special
call-in program starring the artist and special guest sociologist
Jean Duvignaud, who provided analysis of the material. Viewers
call in to make arrangements for the exchange of objects,
which takes place live. A gathering of all participants at
the foot of the Eiffel Tower takes later takes place.
