on the last page of this daily newspaper, a framed “artist’s
certificate” declares the day’s edition a work
of art, castigates the art establishment for its bureaucratic
spirit and lack of imagination, and states the artist’s
subversive intent to make a copy of the work his invited submission
to a exhibition entitled “Ten Years of Contemporary
Art in France.”
